The Andes
Suddenly you feel the earth beneath your feet. You feel the touch of the wind. It talks to you, but you are shaking. You do not know whether it’s because of the coldness of the mountains or the fear which gets into you.
Those mountains you were just watching the day before from the airplane turn into you. You feel more fear and time stops. You are nervous, but at the same time you want to fly like hell. You’ve always dreamed about it and now it is possible. It is in your hands.
…and you fly The Andes. You are paragliding the Andes. You open your eyes ‘cause just a moment before you’d closed them. You feel peace. Peace around those beautiful mountains. You are now the wind. You don’t feel fear anymore. You are the sun. You are the earth…
An eagle flies towards you. You see it. You understand now. You understand you just don’t belong to Mother Earth. You are the earth. You are the stars. You are everything and nothing else matters now.
Enjoy life. Live. Laugh and LOVE. Love yourself like never before. You are powerful now. Flying gives you power. You’ve just broken the impossible. And you realize you can do anything now, because you take risks all the time.
Because anytime from now, when you would turn your face skywards, as Da Vince said once, you would just say. I’ve been there once. I’ve flown the Andes. I’d rather be flying.
